announce results achieved by The Intercontinental Miami,
a one palm certified hotel in the Florida Green Lodging Program
currently working towards a TWO PALM rating who employed Antrac Technologies to convert their standard water
treatment to our water conserving TRAC H20™ on May 1st, 2007.
After just a few short months a noticeable impact has been achieved, these results
include:
- Reduced bleed water from its cooling towers by 750,000 gallons in one month alone.
- Reduce boiler blow down from 3 a day to one a week for additional savings on boilers alone of approximately $2,000 a month.
- Elimination of the need to store or handle a toxic chemical.
- Eliminated the disposal of a toxic chemical in the sewer system.
- Water in the cooling tower pan is crystal clear with TDS readings in the "600 ppm" range.
